EduNexus

Full Project Description

EduNexus was developed to address a common problem in educational institutions: school information and daily operations can become fragmented across paper records, disconnected workflows, and manual processes. The platform provides a unified, role-based environment where administrators can manage school operations, teachers can handle academic activities, and students can access their own academic information. Its core modules cover attendance, examinations and results, assignments, fees, notices, performance analytics, and user management, creating a centralized workflow instead of relying on separate systems. As a Full-Stack Developer on Team ByteCode-Breakers, my contribution focused on building and integrating key parts of the platform across both frontend and backend. My primary work included the Teacher Dashboard and Admin Dashboard, Student Fee Management, Profile Management, and shared application infrastructure. On the Teacher side, the platform supports class and section management, student discovery, notices, and examination/result workflows. The underlying architecture uses Next.js 15, React 19, and TypeScript on the frontend with an Express.js REST API, Prisma ORM, Better Auth, and MongoDB on the backend.
